Eileen Kostiew

Eileen Kostiew, of Dauphin, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the age of 90 years.

Eileen was born on June 10, 1935, to parents John Dewarle & Olga Dewarle nee Selin.

Eileen lived most of her life on the farm until 2016 when she moved into Dauphin.  She loved playing Bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren, who used to ride their bikes over to grandmas and she would make them pancakes.

Eileen worked at Martin Motors in Dauphin and stayed on working at Dean Cooley’s.

She was so happy and couldn’t believe that she was still here for her 90th birthday.

Eileen was predeceased by her parents John & Olga, her husband Bill, son Kelly, daughter Lori, sister Nona and brothers Fred, Henry and Johnny.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Barb, grandchildren Brandi (Alex), Brandin (Kelsey) and Tyler and great-grandchild Xavian.  As well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The Family would like to thank the St. Paul’s staff for their excellent care over the years.

A private graveside service will be held in the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery.
